Creative thinking - a world without limits

Thinking-A World without Limits
The first time the idea
of wireless communication surfaced, it was as if minds needed to be occupied
with fantasies for the fun of it. A great number of people felt it was more
than impossible to communicate across continents without any physical link between
phones. Today, wireless devices are a part of the modern society and wireless
electricity is the new goal. Simply put, anything is possible as long as the
fundamental task of clearly defining the problem or challenge has been done.
Creative thinking is
the application of the mind or brain to getting new ideas, improvements and
revolutionary concepts. Creative thinking plugs the mind into an endless source
of possibilities, permutations and productivity. Creative thinking unleashes
the potential to literally kill the word “impossible” and all that it stands
for. A completely new concept can be formed, improvements can be made on
existing ideas and existing ideas can be applied in a completely different way
from what was originally intended. Funny enough, creative thinking can be
deliberate or accidental. The mind can be intentionally applied to getting
ideas through brainstorming and discipline. The mind can also mistakenly
stumble upon new ideas and concepts in the process of carrying out other tasks.
Deliberately or accidentally, creative thinking improves the quality of life
and paves way for outstanding innovations.
Everyone is capable of
thinking creatively. The degree to which the mind gets involved in creative
thinking differentiates geniuses from paupers. Creative thinking requires
discipline, perseverance and patience. Creative thinking demands that the one,
who is involved in it, be curious, hardworking and open-minded. Asking
questions, brainstorming and the willingness to change is very fundamental to
the individuals’ ability to think creatively. In thinking creatively, the
individual is trying to get a hold of a train of answers that would make the
goal for which creative thinking is done achievable. The individual refuses to
follow the crowd and does something unique.
Failure is an integral
part of creative thinking. In fact, most of the ideas generated while thinking
creatively are not perfect. Creative thinking gives the opportunity to explore
hidden worlds of treasure but at the cost of possible errors and failures.
Creative thinking places the thinker in a position where a lot of room for
imperfection is left for the points generated.
The many possibilities also demands complete mind flexibility. Creative
thinking has no hard cut rule and thus its wave can toss the thinker to very
unusual and weird terrain. Statements like “but that is what it was meant for”,
“there is no other way” and “it is all over” are not part of the creative
thinking lexicon. The creative thinker loves challenges and can spot good
things even when the result of a trial goes bad. Creative thinking is very
possible when the thinker believes that the capability to solve problems and
create solutions is innate.
Creative thinking is a
world without limit to the thinker. Lots of courses abound to teach in details
the process called creative thinking. The bottom-line is never to give up even
when answers are not forthcoming. Keep thinking, allow others to chip in one or
two ideas, think as a contributing part of a team and never write off any
possibility no matter how weird.
